Matt Spielman is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Moose Hill Advisory, a healthcare technology advisory firm focused on product strategy, interoperability, health data management, applied AI strategy, and fractional product leadership. He brings 27 years of experience across healthcare IT implementation, system administration, product management, platform strategy, and standards-based interoperability.

Matt grew up in New York City and attended Stuyvesant High School before moving to Ohio, where he earned a B.S. in Business Management with a minor in Economics from Case Western Reserve University. He began his career in healthcare IT implementation and system administration, later spending five years at The Ohio State University Medical Center, where he was certified in multiple Epic modules and worked with the implementation team for Epic Ambulatory and Inpatient. While in Ohio, he completed his MBA at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.

Matt later moved to Boston with his wife, Allison, and spent 14 years at InterSystems in progressively senior product management roles. His work included healthcare interoperability, patient engagement, FHIR, health information exchange, data platform modernization, cloud and SaaS strategy, and product leadership for InterSystems HealthShare. He later served in senior product leadership roles at Edifecs and MedeAnalytics, focusing on FHIR, CMS interoperability requirements, SaaS transformation, channel strategy, and healthcare analytics. Across these roles, Matt has led product strategy, built and mentored product teams, worked with engineering and go-to-market teams, and supported healthcare organizations navigating complex regulatory, technical, and market changes.

Through Moose Hill Advisory, Matt helps healthcare technology companies, services firms, and growth-stage organizations turn complex product, data, interoperability, and AI challenges into practical strategies and executable plans. His work is grounded in the belief that healthcare technology should reduce administrative burden, improve care, and create more connected systems for patients, providers, payers, and technology partners. Matt lives in Massachusetts with his wife, Allison, and their two young sons.
