The bodies are stainless steel, type 301-equivalent, standard male and female Type N connectors (to the more exacting MIL-C-3901A specification). An unusual feature of these attenuators is the spring-loaded construction of both the male and female central conductor pins. This results in more positive electrical connections, reduced reflections, and lower VSWR values.

It is possible to arrange testing and labeling of each attenuator with its performance over the frequency range, for a nominal additional cost.
